Master the Art of Editing

In this workshop, you will learn how to change your draft document into one that is coherent, error-free and fit for distribution or submission to your boss. You will start by editing the structure of your document. Then you will move on to proofread your writing style, refine your grammar and spelling and, finally, work on the format.

Intended for any person at the workplace, Essential Grammar for Effective Writing clarifies many of the grammar rules that may have puzzled you. For instance, many writers in Singapore cannot differentiate the difference between “I have replied to the email” and “I had replied to the email”. Why “equipment” is not spelt in the plural form? Why do we say, “I look forward to seeing you” and not “I look forward to see you”? These questions and many other common English errors will be highlighted and corrected in this course.

The course will certainly benefit anyone who wishes to communicate accurately and effectively.
